Welcome to our second annual Commercial Commentary on the Super Bowl. We are currently fast forwarding our way through the Super Bowl and watching the commercials. So far, we must admit that we are not overly impressed. At this point, the Doritos with the crystal ball/snow globe is our favotite – which is especially cool since it was made by some guys from Indiana. Stay tuned! More to come in our comments…
We liked the Potato Heads for Bridgestone, the “get a dog” for Pedigree, and the Clydesdale commercials are always great! We especially liked the one with “Daisy.”
The cars.com with David Abernathy was so absurd, it was awesome!
We LOVE the e-trade babies!
The tele-flora was sort of funny, the the death with the taxes was pretty good. Which reminds me, we need to do our taxes one of these days!
The Cheetos commercial was evilly funny. Especially since the girl who got attacked by pigeons was wearing the type of outfit that Brian loves sooooooo much! (OR NOT!)
Now we are putting on our 3D glasses to watch the Monsters vs. Aliens preview. Cool! With Stephen Colbert as the President.
And hey – guess what? Our family room is 3D too!!!!
We loved the Heroes football game. Maybe we’ll have to start watching it again!
I’m horrified to say that so far one of the best was the local channel 13 Skytrack weather in 3D commercial. It was funny and creative. But how sad is it that the local network has one of the best commercials?
Brian really liked the Denny’s commercial. The monster.com with the moose head was funny too.
Oh no! We’ve caught up with the recording. We’ll have to actually watch the football game now. Ug!
The Coke Zero with the kid sharing his coke was hilarious. I think it’s my favorite so far.
The MacGruber Pepsi commercial was pretty funny.
Well, disappointing overall. Hopefully the Office will be good. See ya next year!
